St Bartholomew
SY4 4DW Parking, wheelchair access, open daylight hours
Built in the twelth century beside the now ruined Moreton Corbet castle, the church has a wealth of historical interest.
The east window is by Sir Ninian Comper. There is a rich canopy over the altar,
two fine chest tombs,
( Notice the family emblems, the elephant, the owl and the crow.
Can you see the baby?)
a squire’s pew and many memorials to the Corbet family.
